Best You Prescribers – Platform Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Best You Prescribers platform ("Platform") by both Clinics/Practitioners and Prescribers. By registering for and using the Platform, users agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
* “Prescriber” refers to a qualified and registered healthcare professional authorised to issue prescriptions.
* “Clinic/Practitioner” refers to an individual or entity using the Platform to request prescribing services.
* “Platform” means the Best You Prescribers online system that facilitates connections between Prescribers and Clinics/Practitioners.
2. User Obligations
2.1 All users must ensure that the information they provide during registration, and at any time thereafter, is complete, accurate, and up to date.
2.2 Users agree to promptly update any information that becomes inaccurate or outdated.
3. Clinic/Practitioner Obligations
3.1 Clinics/Practitioners must ensure that all procedures requiring a prescription are performed only by competent, trained, and appropriately insured professionals, within suitable professional premises that meet industry safety standards.
3.2 Clinics/Practitioners must upload the following documentation during onboarding, including but not limited to:
* Treatment-specific training certificates
* Valid business insurance
* Identity documents
3.3 Clinics/Practitioners agree to cooperate with any compliance checks or audits requested by Best You Prescribers.
4. Prescriber Obligations
4.1 Prescribers must be registered with a recognised UK healthcare regulator (e.g. GMC, NMC, GDC, GPhC).
4.2 Prescribers must provide:
* Proof of professional registration
* Valid prescribing insurance
* Evidence of treatment-specific training
4.3 Prescribers are responsible for ensuring they only prescribe for Clinics/Practitioners that meet all relevant regulatory and safety standards.
5. Commission and Payments
5.1 Best You Prescribers charges a commission on the Prescriber’s Booking Fee for each completed booking. Full details of the commission structure are provided in the Fee Agreement at the point of onboarding.
5.2 Clinics must pay the full Booking Fee, plus any applicable payment processing fees, at the time of booking.
5.3 Payment processing fees are set and charged by third-party providers and are in addition to the Booking Fee.
6. Liability
6.1 Best You Prescribers is not liable for any clinical decisions or outcomes resulting from services arranged via the Platform.
6.2 Best You Prescribers is not responsible for the actions of Prescribers or Clinics during appointments booked through the Platform.
6.3 Users accept full responsibility for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
7. Termination and Suspension
7.1 Best You Prescribers reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account in the event of a breach of these Terms or for concerns relating to safety or compliance.
7.2 Users may terminate their account by providing 14 days’ written notice, which may be submitted via email.
8. Data Protection
8.1 All personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
8.2 Users consent to the processing of their data for the purposes of facilitating bookings and performing compliance checks.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Acceptance
By using the Best You Prescribers Platform, users confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
